Dr. andy Luong

Dr. Andy Luong is a native Kansan and second generation Asian American.  Dr. Luong graduated magna cum laude from Wichita State University in 2008.  He graduated from the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Dentistry, in 2013 and returned to Wichita to work in private practice.  His awareness of root canals and endodontic therapy developed during this time, which led him to additional studies at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he received his Certificate in Endodontics in 2018.  He is board-eligible and active in the Kansas Dental Association, Wichita District Dental Society, and the American Association of Endodontists.

Dr. Luong’s commitment to the community stems from his rooted family base.  His parents immigrated to Wichita in the early 1980s and instilled in him a sense of purpose and direction.  While professional projects and academic initiatives have taken him to cities of various sizes and densities, there is no place like home, as the sense of community here is the strongest and the people are the most welcoming.

When Dr. Luong is not working, he is spoiling his dogs, trying not to burn dinner, and playing Mario-Kart with his nieces.  You will also find him at Wichita State basketball games.  Go Shocks!
