Dr. jacob Butler

Dr. Jacob Butler is an endodontist focused on combining clinical precision with compassionate patient care. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine in 2013. Driven by a desire to help those in need, he joined the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) shortly after graduation, providing essential dental care to underserved rural communities.

Dr. Butler’s dedication to the field goes beyond clinical practice; he is deeply passionate about teaching. During his time with the NHSC, he served as a volunteer adjunct faculty member, and later dedicated significant time during his residency to educating dental students. In 2018, he earned his Master of Science and post-doctoral Certificate in Endodontics from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where he also conducted and published advanced research on nano-CT 3D analysis of root canal obturation methods.

To ensure his patients receive the highest standard of care, Dr. Butler utilizes state-of-the-art technologies, including surgical operating microscopes, 3D CBCT imaging, and laser-assisted irrigation. He is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists and the American Dental Association, prioritizing lifelong learning to stay at the forefront of the field.

A unique asset to his patients is Dr. Butler’s fluency in Spanish, honed during six years living in Latin America. He believes clear communication is key to patient comfort and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Spanish at Idaho State University to further refine his skills.

When not in the office, Dr. Butler prioritizes time with his wife, four children, and their dog. You might also find him playing golf, listening to country music, or exploring the outdoors, especially Southeast Kansas.
