Dr. jacob Butler

Dr. Jacob Butler received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine in 2013. Shortly after finishing dental school, he joined the National Health Service Corps where he provided dental care in underserved rural communities. He also served as a volunteer adjunct faculty for the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. Dr. Butler loves to teach, and during his endodontic residency spent a significant amount of time educating dental students. He has also completed research on the topic of nano-CT 3D analysis of root canal obturation methods. In 2018, Dr. Butler earned a Master of Science and post-doctoral Certificate of Endodontics from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.

Dr. Butler is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists and American Dental Association. He treasures learning, and is continually taking courses to further his knowledge and skills as an endodontist. He has been formally trained in, and utilizes, the latest endodontic technology which includes surgical operating microscopy, and 3-dimensional CBCT imaging.

Dr. Butler spent 6 years in Hispanic America where he learned to speak Spanish fluently. While in Puerto Rico for dental school, Dr. Butler visited the beach often and enjoyed the year-round tropical climate along with the food and music. He loves practicing his Spanish with anyone who is willing to listen. He spends as much time as possible with his wife, four children, and dog. He also likes playing golf, listening to country music, and enjoying all of the hidden gems that Wichita has to offer.
