Dr. jerad Divine

Dr. Divine graduated with honors from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri, and
attended dental school at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry, graduating
in 2011. While in dental school, he was selected as a Health Professions Scholarship Program
(HPSP) scholar and commissioned as an Officer in the United States Navy. After completion of
dental school, he was accepted into one of the Navy’s most prestigious Advanced Education in
General Dentistry (AEGD) residencies in Norfolk, Virginia, where he earned the honor of top
resident among his peers.
After residency, Dr. Divine spent two years stationed aboard the USS Ashland (LSD-48) and the
USS Tortuga (LSD-46) as the ships’ Dental Officer. While these ships were homeported in
Virginia Beach, Virginia, he deployed around the world, spending months in both the Atlantic
and Pacific. After returning from his final deployment, he was stationed in San Diego, California,
where he provided dental care to Navy SEALs, EOD personnel, and Seabees at Naval Branch
Clinic Coronado. It was there that Dr. Divine developed his love for endodontics.
After completing his tour of duty in the United States Navy, Dr. Divine returned home to the
University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry and completed his endodontic residency
at the Stowers-Johnson Endodontic Department. During this time, he served as chief resident,
lectured and taught in the preclinical laboratory, and taught clinical endodontics. While
completing his residency, Dr. Divine also conducted research on bioceramic materials, earning a
Master of Science degree in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences and presenting his research at the
Midwest Dental Conference. Dr. Divine is a Board-Certified Endodontist and Diplomate of the
American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Divine was fortunate to marry his loving and supportive wife, Mandy, while in dental school.
She continues to join him on all his adventures and has supported him throughout his
education while simultaneously pursuing her own education and career goals. They are blessed
with a son and two daughters. Together, they enjoy cooking, camping, hiking, beekeeping, and
many other outdoor activities, including spending time with their German shepherd, Panzer. As
a family, they also enjoy local attractions such as the Zoo, Tanganyika Wildlife Park, and
Dinosaur Park. Dr. Divine is happy to be back in the Midwest and enjoys the family-centric
community, lack of road traffic, and Wichita pride!
